That with respect to Report C2026-0385, the following be adopted: That Council: 1. Adopt the Confidential Recommendation contained in Confidential Attachment 2; 2. Appoint the individual recommended in Confidential Attachment 3a as a Public Member of the Calgary Salutes Friends of HMCS Calgary Subcommittee for completion of a term to expire at the 2026 Organizational Meeting of Council; 3. Appoint the individuals recommended in Confidential Attachment 4a as Public Members of the Anti-Racism Action Committee for the completion of two-year terms to expire at the 2027 Organizational Meeting of Council; 4. Acknowledge the following as Public Members of the Calgary Salutes Coordinating Committee, by virtue of their positions: a. Commander Anna Kocot, Captain of HMCS Tecumseh; b. Lieutenant Colonel Andrew Beauchamp, as designate of the Brigade Commander for 41 Canadian Brigade Group; 5. Acknowledge Ian Fleming, Director of Recreation & Social Programs, as an Administration Member of the Multisport Fieldhouse Committee by virtue of his position at The City, as set out in Attachment 5; 6. Thank Public Members Harjit Baumann, Denise Audrey Lienou, Veronica McHugh, and Rhonda Thorne for their service on Council Committees; 7. Direct the City Clerk to make the Public Member appointments publicly available following notification of the appointees and their acceptance of the appointments; and 8. Direct that Closed Meeting discussions and Confidential Attachments 2, 3a, 3b, 4a and 4b remain confidential pursuant to Sections 20 (Disclosure harmful to personal privacy) and 22 (Confidential evaluations) of the Access to Information Act, not to be released.
