That with respect to Confidential Report C2026-0628, the following be adopted, as amended: That Council: 1. Provide guidance to Administration to increase the 2027 property tax revenue as a planning guide to further refine, scale and prioritize spending requests for consideration within the 20272030 budget cycle; 2. Receive the presentation and Confidential Attachments 1, 2, 3 and 4 for information and discussion; 3. Adopt Councils guidance as set out in Confidential Distribution 5; 4. Direct that the Closed Meeting discussions, Confidential Distribution 5, Confidential Cover Report, and Confidential Attachments 1, 2, 3 and 4 remain confidential pursuant to Section 29 (Advice from officials) of the Access to Information Act, to be reviewed no later than 2026 December 31; and 5. Direct that, notwithstanding Recommendation 4, the Closed Meeting discussions, Confidential Distribution 5, Cover Report and Confidential Attachments 1, 2, 3 and 4 be released to Business Planning Finance, and further shared with Administration and the Calgary Police Service only where required to support next steps in the budget process.
