That with respect to Report EC2026-0543, the following be adopted, as amended: That Council: 1. Amend its decision with respect to Report EC2024-1022 by deleting the phrase "2027, based on the options analysis in Attachment 2" and replacing with "2028", to read as follows: That with respect to Report EC2024-1022, the following be adopted: That Council direct Administration to: 1. 1. 1. Reinstate a biennial municipal census starting in 2028; and 2. Bring forward municipal census funding requirements for consideration in the 2027-2030 Service Plans and Budgets. 1. Direct Administration to provide updates to Executive Committee in 2026 October, 2027 Q2 and 2027 Q4 that provide detail on Civic Census Program development and delivery status, including but not limited to timelines, actions, budget, and risks/mitigations. 2. Direct that Attachment 2 to Report EC2026-0543 remain confidential pursuant to Sections 19 (Disclosure harmful to business interests of a third party) and 26 (Disclosure harmful to intergovernmental relations) of the Access to Information Act, to be reviewed by 2076 June 9.
