Resolution
That with respect to Notice of Motion EC2024-0132, the following be adopted, as amended: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That Council direct Administration to return: to the Regular Council meeting of 2024 February 27th with a list of one-time, operating, and capital budget adjustments to reduce the 2024 operating and/or capital budget by $23.1 million in order to rebate the tax increase to residential taxpayers due to the 2024 1 per cent tax share change approved by Council; and with $23.1 million in ongoing budget adjustments to reduce the 2025 operating budget through the Mid-Cycle Adjustments process in order to negate the bow wave effects related to a one-time budget adjustment.
