That with respect to Report C2021-2031, the following Motion Arising be adopted: That Council: Direct the City Manager and City Solicitor to develop a protocol to ensure accountability for decisions made to expend funds for external legal fees and disbursements in defending Council Members in legal proceedings, including reimbursement of such funds where appropriate, and report back to Council no later than the end of July 2021.
