That Alderman J. Mar's Motion NM2010-44 be adopted, as follows: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council direct Administration to modify their reporting templates so that more complete information, whilst still maintaining an Executive Summary, may be brought to Standing Policy Committees, Special Committees and to Council. Such information to include, but not be limited to: • Previous Council Direction • Background • Triple Bottom Analysis (where applicable) • Risk Assessment • Multiple Scenarios and Alternatives with detailed reporting of the ramifications of each • Cost Implications • Operating Cost Implications (where applicable) • Public Consultation results (where applicable) • Funding Sources • Cumulative Budget Implications (where applicable) • Justification for Recommendation NOW BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Council directs the Administration to prepare and submit directly to Members-of-Council at the earliest opportunity, but no later than January 31, 2011, an example of a report as prepared by the Administration in the previous format and a second example of the same report written to include the additional details and information sought in this Notice of Motion.
