That Alderman Carra’s proposed motion, as amended, as follows, be referred to the 2011 May Meeting of the SPC on Land Use, Planning and Transportation, to be considered in conjunction with a Report on Revised Transit Fares for the 2012-2014 Budget: That Council: 1. Reduce the current price of the low-income transit pass to $40 a month and reduce the Calgary Transit forecast revenues by $380K; and 2. Cut the proposed increase to the adult pass to $88, resulting in a $1.25 Million reduction in the Calgary Transit forecasted revenue.
