That with respect to Verbal Report C2020-0145, the following be adopted: That Council: Reaffirm our commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and anti-racism in our organization and in our community. With respect to concerns related to the Calgary Fire Department, direct Administration to specifically include these issues in their continuing work on internal practices and movement towards cultural change. Direct that the Closed Meeting discussions be held confidential pursuant to Section 24 (Advice from officials) and 27 (Privileged information) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
